Why would any of us chose to transition knowing how difficult life is for trans people unless... It was simply who we truly are and living inauthentically is basically worse than not living at all? I got the, "It is all in your head!" speech for the 837 millionth time today and my brain filtered it into the trash bin as it always does. But, there is always this tiny residue of WTF left behind. What are some of the ways you respond to this when it pops up in your life? I would truly love to hear how you interpret and deal with this.
