My boyfriend (22m) has brought to my (22f) attention multiple times that I’m not doing a food job at being respectful, nice, and submissive. I really desire this myself and it’s something I want, but for whatever reason I just CAN NOT seem to stick with it. I have a very outgoing, joking, and almost dominant (?) personality. I also come from a family where making jokes at other people’s expenses is super normal, so I do it too and I’m trying to stop. He provides for me, is a good partner, takes care of me, so why can’t I do my role? Does anyone have any advice? I don’t know why I can’t just shut up and do what I want to do- just the sassy takes over.😭🙄 please help!
