Hi everyone,
I’m looking for advice from people who have experience growing niche entertainment platforms.
Three months ago, I launched an independent film streaming app on iOS and Android. We’re already generating revenue, which has been encouraging, but now I’m trying to figure out how to scale.
Our focus is on documentaries and short films, and over the next few months I’d like to build partnerships with creators, influencers, and film festivals.
For those of you who have grown a niche platform or marketplace, what strategies worked best? Did you find influencers, affiliate programs, community building, festival partnerships, or something else to be the biggest growth driver?
I’d really appreciate any advice or lessons you’ve learned.

Dumped is a real life documentary about the group of animal volunteers in Las Vegas Paws Patrol LV.
Your film has completed the film festival round, and you are now waiting for an agent or distribution company to make you at least one offer.
What if nothing happens? Most likely you will share it for free online, getting a lot of views and compliments. That’s it.
