Hi,

I need a cheap 55inch TV for several months for my temporary house. I think 500-600$ is a reasonable price to pay.
All recommendations go for TCL and Hisense (or Chinese brands in general). I'm aware they are the best for this price range, but I prefer to avoid Chinese brands and will use the TV mostly for news, regular TV, sometimes Netflix series, and that's all.
I don't care about movies or a true dark color.

I know Samsung and LG have a model black list here, except for their OLED models which are not in my price range. I read a lot of previous posts here.

Any recommendations? not a perfect TV, just good-enough ++ :)
