Very low level dominating lobbies?

I am seeing it more and more often: very low level players absolutely tearing and dominating the lobby. They are obviously playing extremely well, and are not new to the game at all.

From the killcams, I cannot detect any obvious cheats, just very very solid gameplay (but then again, cheats are not always obvious)

So it's leaving me a bit puzzled. I can't think of other explanations than these:

  • Novices playing extremely well despite having just started the game
  • Veterans of other CoDs starting BO7
  • Experienced players creating new accounts for some reason

I can't help to be suspicious and thinking there is something nefarious at play. Am I paranoid?

PS: By "low level", I don't mean low prestige, or level 55. Really low, like below 20.

Most games it doesn't assign me a nemesis, and the couple of times where it did, it did not track all the kills. I think it only counted one per match.

Anybody else encountered issues?

I figured I would point out what I think they did right, since I certainly complain about what I dislike. It's only fair to balance the scales.

I am really happy about the addition of body multipliers on the MXR and the Sokol, and the change to make headshots very rewarding on the MK35. It's great to have guns that make you focus more on accuracy and reward you for it.

I never really understood the decision to remove body multipliers on near all weapons, I think it's a great tool to better balance guns, and I think it's a very positive thing that they are bringing it back on some guns.

Maybe the Carbon 57 next?
