Hybrid training - split

Hello hybrid people:)

I've been training "hybrid", so combining lifting, hyrox classes and running and in the summer months hiking, for the past 1 year. In the past months or even comparing from 1 year ago, I feel like I haven't made any progress running wise and can't seem to run faster. I think, I may be chronically tired because of wrong split or training too much, so I need your advice on my split. Would be really glad for your insights on this thank you.

And some info about me: F(26), best 5K time 1 year ago (27min50s), now (31min). I sleep for 8-9 hours everyday, so sleep is not the issue and I make sure to eat enough.

  • Monday=rest day/stretching, getting some easy steps in
  • Tuesday=interval/tempo session
  • Wednesday=AM: lower strength, plyo, PM: easy 5km recovery run
  • Thursday=ergs (ski, row, bike)
  • Friday=easy 5-7km run
  • Saturday=AM: long easy run, PM: upper strength
  • Sunday=AM: easy short run/tempo short run, PM: 1h bike session/hyrox conditioning

Življenje v hiši s starši od partnerja

Zdravo,

vem, da je bilo na to temo že nekaj debat, a ponovno odpiram temo. Vsi vemo, kakšna je situacija na nepremičninskem trgu in da si kot mlad par težko privoščiš neko normalno stanovanje oz., da ga sploh dobiš. Zato me zanima, koliko vas dejansko živi v hiši, kjer imate ločeno stanovanje/štuk, skupaj s starši, bodisi svojimi ali od partnerja? Kako ste pred vselitvijo postavili meje (npr. brez prehajanja v stanovanje, kuhanje obrokov, itd.), in kaj bi priporočali nekomu, ki se bo vselil v stanovanje k partnerju, kjer v spodnjem stanovanju živijo starši?

Sama se načeloma res dobro razumem s starši partnerja, tudi odnosi med mojimi starši in njegovimi so super, ampak ker seveda razmišljam vnaprej me skrbi, da bi se ta dinamika lahko hitro podrla, ko bi se enkrat vselila. Kar se tiče odnosov med mojim partnerjem in njegovi starši je to, da so njegovi starši še zelo "po stari logiki" in če se fotr odloči, da more biti pokošena trava, mora biti pokošena v isti sekundi, drugače je še to prepozno. Pa navada je, da kar hodijo po stanovanjih in mati pospravlja sinovoma vse doma, jima kuha, pere. Mojemu partnerju se sicer to ne zdi normalno, pravi, da bo postavil meje in da bi tudi on rad, da nimata več tok "vpogleda" v njegovo življenje.

Preden se vselim, sem rekla, da je nujno, da se postavijo meje. Pa me zanima, če je bil kdo v podobni situaciji, kako ste postavili meje, vaše izkušnje..?

Trouble with running

Hey fellow runners!

For the past few months, I've been having problems with running. I started running consistently 1 year and 4 months ago, and when I look at my stats, I was running way better 1 year ago than I am today, even tough, I have structured plan now (such as intervals, tempo runs, long run, recovery run). 1 year ago when I went out, I ran 5km without stopping in 27minutes, but today, I can barely run 5km without stopping and I run it in around 31 minutes. I don't know what the problem is, I can barely hold the pace 6:00min/km for a few kilometres and then my mind just switches off and my legs can't work anymore. I make sure, I eat properly, sleep alot (8-9hours every day) and have rest days.

I feel like I'm shit with running, I constantly need breaks when running. I love running but I hate the feeling that I always need to stop and catch a breath. I also want to improve my speed but I just can't seem to get there.

Is it normal to have such periods with "off" running?
