Six months in still no regrets on the T14

Figured I'd post an update since I've had more time with it now.

Nothing dramatic to report, which is honestly the point. It's still running the same as day one. No weird slowdowns creeping in, no thermal issues, battery hasn't noticeably degraded. For a work machine that gets used hard every day, that's kind of all I can ask for.

The keyboard is still the highlight for me. I do a lot of writing and the longer I use it, the more I notice how much worse other laptop keyboards feel when I have to use them. Not sure I can go back.

One thing I've come around on is the weight. It's not a light laptop, and at first I noticed it in my bag. After a few months I genuinely don't think about it anymore. Feels like a tradeoff I'd make again.

The speakers are still the weakest part. I've just accepted it and keep earbuds nearby. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing going in.

If anyone's on the fence about it, especially for work use, I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's the kind of laptop that stops being something you think about and just becomes part of your routine. Mine's basically invisible to me now, which I think is a good sign.

ThinkPad T14 Has Been Rock Solid for Me

Picked up a ThinkPad T14 a while back for work and general day-to-day use, and honestly, it's been one of the most dependable laptops I've owned.

The thing I appreciate most is that it just works. No weird issues, no random slowdowns, and no feeling like I need to baby it. The keyboard lives up to the hype too. I spend a lot of time typing, and it's easily one of the best laptop keyboards I've used.

Battery life has been solid enough to get through most of my workday, and the build quality feels like it can handle being tossed into a backpack without me stressing about it. It's not the flashiest laptop out there, but that's kind of why I like it.

A couple of things could be better. The speakers are just okay, and the design definitely prioritizes function over looks. If you're after something ultra-thin or premium-looking, there are probably better options.

That said, if your priority is reliability and getting work done without headaches, the ThinkPad T14 is hard to complain about. It's one of those purchases that hasn't given me buyer's remorse even once.
