Choosing a spectral cell sorter - advice/experience?

New Cell sorter suggestion please!

If you could pick one cell sorter to purchase - which would it be and why? It would be the only cell sorter in the lab so it needs to cover sorting cell lines, mouse cells, tissues etc. 100um nozzle and plate sorting will be commonly used.

Options so far are Cytek CS, BD S8, Thermofisher Bigfoot. Pro's and con's of each? I have seen BD S8 - looks ok but we don't really need the imaging component.

Currently have Cytek Aurora analyser and so far so good. Thinking Cytek CS might be a good compliment to the analyser but heard the plate sort is not as great. Any experience on this?

thanks

Suggestion for my routine please - new user of tret 0.025 - antiaging

I have started using Tret 0.025% for a month now. Previously used Medik8 retinal 6. I'm in my 40's and don't get pimples, more so for slowing aging/fine lines (or helping smooth them out on forehead), texture, glow, reduce pigmentation.

I started off once a week, 2nd, 3rd, 4th week - twice a week. Have started 3 x a week. I've been a long user of Japanese skin care and want to continue to incorporate them in but not knowing if it's ok to or not. I don't think they contain actives.

If anyone has advice/suggestions regarding my routine that would be great to get some input.

AM: DHC toner, every 2 days - Rohto Melano CC Vitamin C Essence, Spray thermal spring water and then Hada Labo premium HA lotion. Then Hada Labo Koi Gokujyun Perfect Gel moisturiser. LRP - SPF50 or Biore sunscreen.

PM: DHC toner, Spray thermal spring water, Hada Labo premium HA lotion, Vasaline around eyes, nose edge, mouth, wait 5min, peasize 0.025% tretinoin around face. Allow 20mins before Hada Labo Koi Gokujyun Perfect Gel moisturiser ( Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Squalane, and Hydroxyethyl Urea). Before bed, either a layer of LRP cicplast or Avene cicalfate.

I have started Anua azelaic 10+ - have used at night on tret off nights

I haven't had peeling as such yet but also don't know if there's any better suggestions of how I should be layering as I heard mixed reviews about HA isn't ideal before tret? Tret should be on clean dry skin?

Any suggestions or knowledge around this and my routine would be great. Thank you

Rain and wet weather tips!

I have a 5 day window to go DL HK and it's appearing it'll rain on all 5 days. I have yet to get tickets and really bummed. I have 3 little ones with me so a trip to DL in the rain isn't ideal as I've planned this for ages. I don't mind a little rain but it doesn't look good for Thurs.

Any advice/tips? ponchos for all? I know a lot of rides are inside but will rides close outside due to rain or only if it rains heavy? I'm debating if it's worth it if it's forecasted to rain a lot or ignore the forecast (as a local told me it's not always accurate even the day before).

Thanks

Amaterasu railway + Takachiho gorge

We plan to arrive at Amaterasu railway by 9:30am to try secure tickets for train ride mid morning then Takachiho gorge boat ride after lunch.

With little kids, my husband was thinking to drop us off to line up to get train tickets while he drives and finds parking near one of the available Takachiho gorge parking lots and walk back to us for train ride. Then after train ride - instead of walking to Takachiho gorge - are there shuttle buses to take us there? Will have 6 of us total. Or would it be better to just find parking near Amaterasu (I heard limited parking close by?), do train first and then find whatever parking is left?

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to work out if we arrive at 9:30am to Amaterasu railway - how long approx will it take to secure a ticket? Our aim of the day is Amaterasu railway first, then takachiho sight see , lunch and then boat ride.

Thanks!

Has anyone ordered glasses from Jins or owndays and know approximately how long they may take to make? I have high presciption and astigmatism.

I plan to visit with script ready on day 1 in Fukuoka (staying for 7 days inc weekend). I'll fly out from Tokyo. I read that they can send glasses from Fukuoka -Tokyo (with a fee). I'd like to ask in advance but don't know if I can get approx answer via email. If anyone has done high prescription glasses or has had it delivered to another area I'd appreciate some feedback. Interested in multifocal as well

Can anyone help with this?

I plan to leave Fukuoka and head to Osaka (2 nights) then onto Tokyo. Do I need to purchase separate shinkansen tickets from Fukuoka to Osaka and then Osaka to Tokyo? I read somewhere that it's possible to buy 1 way from Fukuoka to Tokyo - and allows Osaka stopover (and this way is slightly cheaper than getting separate tickets).

Travelling 3 adults and 3 small kids

Thanks
