My Nepenthes haul from the NC2026 CP Expo!
Totally worth it! My only regret is not making it for Day 2.. if I had, I would've bought more. You can never have too many Nepenthes!

Sold for a whopping $4,500 at the NC2026 Carnivorous Plant Expo.
An amazing day was had by all! There were dozens of vendors, hourly speakers, and, of course, plenty of fellow hobbyists to chat with.
If Kernersville NC isn't too far from where you live, I would highly recommend showing up for day 2. I unfortunately cannot, but day 1 was an amazing morning for me, and I would do it all over again if I could.
...he gives me the saddest look and acts like he heard another family member call his name. Luckily, he's good at dropping them on-command!
Bought this huge sarracenia from a local nursery a few days ago. Its rhizome is huge and causing the current pot to bulge, so time to upsize it. Rummaged through my pots, and these two looked like the best options, though I can't settle on a specific one.
My initial pick was the plastic pot, primarily because the general consensus is that plastic pots are king, but I gravitate to the ceramic pot too, first because it's prettier to look at, and additionally because it has more room for horizontal growth. The potential for mineral leaching crossed my mind, but if it's outdoors 24/7 where it'll be rained on, I presume it wouldn't affect it. But, again... I'd rather check in with the pros first.
So, thoughts?
Stopped by a local nursery and found this gorgeous sarracenia. I've only bought smaller ones before (think the size you see at big box stores), and combined with the gorgeous rhizome, I caved and bought it on-the-spot. To me, it feels worth the price, but I thought I would ask the experts.
Also, is anyone able to identify what species this may be?
SPECS:
Rhizome = 3.5"-4" long and 3" wide
Pitcher height = 16" - 22"
Pot dimensions = 4" x 6"
Road to Victorian N. Hybrids: 2/6
Obtained this beautiful N. Mastersiana (sanguinea x khasiana) cutting from PFT earlier this month. All of my current neps are small, 6" or shorter cuttings, so to have one that's vining-sized is pretty awesome.
I also own the mother species, N. Sanguinea, so once it pushes out a fresh pitcher, I'll likely make another post showcasing them next to one another. Ditto to my other Victorian nep, Dyeriana.
Temps are dropping to 45(F) by early morning, but will return to normal by sunrise... is it necessary to bring my five intermediates inside for this, or can I safely leave them outside?
I did a complete double-take when the webpage loaded. It looks AWESOME! Absolutely loving it.
