interaction i had this morning w customers that make me question humanity
so this couple came in earlier and they were getting fish, FRESHWATER FISH. i bagged them all up and they were like “do u have any clownfish? we didn’t see any” and i was like “like saltwater? clownfish?” and they said yea and i was like “oh yea they’re on this side” and showed them. and they’re staring AT THE CLOWNFISH and go “we dont see any” and then i was like “wait, do u mean like clown loaches instead?” bc like yk, they were getting freshwater. and they said no. so then i was like “ur talking ab like CLOWNFISH right? yk like nemo?” and they said yea and i was like “uh yea that’s what these are” and the guy was like “u said these were saltwater?” and i said “yes, u have a saltwater tank right?” and he goes “where r the freshwater clownfish?” and i was like there’s no such thing. and the wife goes “well we had a clownfish in our tank but it died in like 2 days so we want another one” uhm like uh yea no dip it died bc u guys have a FRESHWATER tank and clownfish are SALTWATER
honestly interactions like this make me question humanity sometimes. any time anyone shows interest in any saltwater fish i always have to start with “u know these guys r saltwater right?” and 8/10 times they don’t even know even though we have a giant sign that says SALTWATER on our saltwater fish😂🤦♀️
