[LFA] Neenru Sepa, Kalashtar High Priestess of Anubis

[LFA] Neenru Sepa, Kalashtar High Priestess of Anubis

Hello everyone! I'm here with an art request for Neenru Sepa, a gentle but rebellious Grave Cleric of Anubis in my campaign!

Background:

In my world, all kalashtar share one quori. Her family's quori, is Sepa, who takes on the form of a Centipede. It represents dreams related to one's well-being. This lead to her family finding solace in worshipping the god Anubis, whose scripture of finality in death, they hold dear. As such, as much as they are clerics, they rarely provide healing to dying beings, and would instead provide palliative care as their main focus. Neenru grew up in this culture and felt conflicted. She believes in the proper and holistic treatment of the sick and injured and thus, she sought knowledge of the physical art of medicine to use in conjunction with the divine miracles provided to her by her god. This was seen as a sort of heresy by her family, but she perseveres regardless to prove them wrong. The fact that her god seems to encourage her actions adds to that raging fire within. Perhaps, she, among all the priests and priestesses of Anubis, understands the meaning of death far better than most.

I hope you folk like her concept and take interest in drawing art of her! She is a special character in the campaign and has proven to not only be a safe space for the party playing in the game, but also to provide her own blend of shenanigans!

[LFA] Elish Jarraren, Genasi Empress of the Elements

Hi everyone! I'm back with a new LFA. This time, it's for Elish, the (Future) Empress of the Elements 😃She's a highly combative, but still helpful ally in the campaign I run for my players, and I would love to have proper art for her (preferably non-orientalist) to share with my players! I hope you like her concept, and I am always excited to see ya'll's works!

I added my own interpretation of her on the fourth pic, but it should be a fairly okay reference to her general vibe.

Backstory:

Elish Jarraren is an NPC in my DnD campaign. In my world, she is one of the princesses of the tripartite kingdom of Obol.

She is the daughter of Enlil, the King of Genies, and ruler of the First Court of Obol. Enlil, by obligation, has a set of twenty concubines each representing an primary elemental, para-elemental, and quasi-elemental plane. Enlil is to produce one offspring with each concubine so that each elemental plane has an equal chance to spawn the next King or Queen of the Genies. However, as the twentieth child reached their first year in life, a cradle made of glass appeared beside the throne of the emperor, where Elish, still a baby was found with only a necklace clutched in her tiny hands. Enlil knew Elish was his child, but not with any of his twenty concubines, a public scandal.

Challenged with a race for the inheritance for the throne of her father, Elish was born without manifesting traits or characteristics that a genasi would have in representing their respective element. Rather, she instead developed a sort of glass-like attribute to the right side of her body that lets her reflect light. She soon discovered that she cannot control only one element...but all twenty that exists in the world. That much power, as well as an event called the Seventh Emanation, wherein the desert Obol is located in slowly began to vitrify(turn to glass) made her people fear her and became a means of which the other concubines and their offspring could restrict her running for the throne.

Elish was placed within a pavilion made of glass only Enlil can command to open as a ways to restrain her. This did not hinder Elish, rather she took the "imprisonment" happily as an opportunity to learn about her powers without her jealous siblings prying eyes. By reading from her family's books, she learned that the Primordials, elemental beings that terraformed the world, were deposed by the Gods for rulership of the world.

Born in a house already filled with competition and intrigue, what Elish learned only fueled a primordial spark within her. She did not only need to claim the throne on Obol, she decided that she needed to claim the throne of divinity back for her people. The rightful rulers of the world, the elementals.

Thus, Elish decided to strengthen herself, and soon, she mastered all the twenty elemental forces of the world all while everyone in Obol thought she had been snuffed out. One night, the glass pavilion shattered entirely, with the princess within nowhere to be found. When Enlil was asked what happened and how could Elish break a pavilion only he could open, the King of the Genies only laughs.

Edit: Forgot to mention I added my own interpretation of her on the third pic, but it should be a fairly okay reference to her general vibe.
