Mystery Ranch website listing Taiwan as "Province of China"
This is probably a strange topic for this sub-reddit, but I was genuinely confused and kinda disappointed. I was looking for a dedicated backpack for carrying a large FPV drone to training.
I found a promising pack on Mystery Ranch's website, but when looking for international retailers, the website listed "Taiwan (Province of China)".
I know for most people it probably doesn't mean jack s*it. But for a brand focusing on tactical gear that is also a major defense contractor supplying law enforcement and the U.S. military, taking on a foreign adversary's political terminology, contradicting U.S. foreign policy, punching down US ally, it just doesn't sit right with me.
I don't know if this has to do with new owner of MR, because as far as i know these kinda of kowtow to CCP has always come down to money and market in China. Not trying to start a massive political debate here, but as someone who values the brand’s tactical heritage, I hope this is just a mistake, not them actually bowing to CCP's pressure campaigns. I have sent complaint through website, I will update this post if I got any response.
