If I had a nickel for every time I had a favorite character of a franchise that is an unique anthropomorphic animal and a villain who has done horrible atrocities, has white fur/feathers as well as red as part of their features; that are sophisticated and manipulative, a bit crazy and were also responsible for the "creation" of a protagonist/antagonist and (supposedly) died buried, ultimately because of their own rubris and ambitions...

I'd have two nickels... which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice 🤔

(It's also weird that I also decided to redeem the both of them by giving them (or focusing on his existing, on Shen's case) tragic backstory to explain (but not justify) their actions, and saw/made AUs for them of said redemptions, because they barely have good content in media and are hated (as villains should be, a love/hate relationship))

So, I have a lot of unfinished/undigitalized sketches and WIPs, because of that I've decided to post these finished drawings I've had on my sfuff for a while on my take of Lord Shen's parents.

(I headcanon their names are Lord Ian and Lady Ai, because of someone I saw who named them that but I don't remebered who did that)

As a bonus treat, I also present to you Shen as a chick, a sketch I have of him from the first time I tried to draw him more bird-like, and my absolute favorite early drawing of him, in that order :3

• My brother did the red markings for the last one

• I was too lazy to draw backgrounds, so you get the plain white ones

Am I the only one that feels bad for the poor guy?

His actions were horrible and by no means justifiable, but that was a sad way to go...
