Wouldn't it be amazing if Sega made an animated series adapting the comics? How many seasons do you think they would need to adapt issues 1-100?

Do you think they'll release a 4-issues mini series before the 100th issue?

If I'm OK, the last mini-series was Scrapnik Island, and it was amazing but it's self-contained and doesn't add anything to the story other than what happened with several Badniks and Mecha Sonic, so it would maybe be cool to have one.

Would it be tuff if someone made Zalgo edits of IDW “Sonic” comics?

Here are a few examples.

Looking for recommendations

Im a big Amy fan. Does anyone have any IDW comic recommendations that have her as a central part to the story? Or any must-reads for Amy fans?

For people who think it can’t Starline because the coffin guy isn’t drawn with webbing on his hands, just know the artists did the exact same thing during the choa races arc. During that arc they purposely drew Starline’s hands lacking webbing as to not make it too obvious

How should Mimic return?

With Starline's comeback being theorized with the new villain that's shown up, I'd also like Mimic to return if possible. IDW doesn't really have any archnemesis villains at the moment (excluding Eggman of course). I love his cockiness when he's winning that is only followed by his desperation and panic when he ends up "biting more the he chew."

His alleged death (although a little rushed) makes me want to see him comeback even more. I want to know how he'd plan to get revenge on Whisper for what he did to him.

For me, the explosion will likely cause some form of physical deformity leading to his shapeshifting being less useful.

Or maybe he tries to mess with Tangle instead to get to Whisper.

Either way, I just wanted to gauge the community's overall feeling about Mimic.

Lanolin, nanami and megumi

To explain this better, first I'd like to thank some of the comments on the other post, even though it's been deleted now. I'II make a separete post about billy's ideology in the sonic series. I'II try to see what I can do here:firstly, I know there are a million characters who could serve as examples for lanolin's future and development better tha nanami and megumi, like hawkeye himself, who was mentioned in a comment. In fact, that some comment understood a key part of why I chose these characters, like lanolin, they are normal, well, normal compared to the chaotic world they live in. But he also mentioned something that also made me a choose them: they are unbalanced. And well, since I read and watch a lot of of new and old things, I must have made this association, but it makes a little sense in my head. I'II explain in detail now: Nanami:well this one is obvious, a tired but kind-hearted worker. Well, Lanolin. Although seemingly closed off, is the one who cares must about others and believes in gojo as a sorcerer, but doesn't respect him, just as lano doesn't respect sonic, (from what I've read and seen up to the least issue in which she appeared, I think this is confirmed) Lanolin as a good character, an interessing idea to work with, i'm not saying that nanami is a mandatory example to follow, only if the writers want to, and no, Im not talking about dying, nanami has others aspects. Megumi: well, this one is a little mess relevant, but it remind me of lanolin because of certain lines: "Unequal reality is what everyone receives equally";"I hate bad people, they think they are the bests, but they have little imagination, but I also can't deal with good people, they forgive and accept these bad people, and then treat forgiveness as something as noble";"karma isn't automatic, bad people can only be judged by the law, I only believe in my conscience, and I don't care If I'm right or wrong" are phrases and charactheristics of megumi that reminded me of lanolin, but the isn't necessarily an example of a character to be a followed by lanolin. These two jujutsu characters are just examples; there are better characters for lanolin, but it's just an idea.

How do you collect your Sonic comics?

I personally have a problem, because I have volumes 2, 4, 5 and 6 from the IDW collection (bought online), volumes 1 - Fallout! and 16 - Misadventures (that I bought in phisical stores, thats why i didn't bought them in order) and issues 28-29 (idk why). How should I continue collecting them?

PD: Have you ever seen someone with one of the 5 volumes of "On the go"???

Hi Reddit! I'm Nick Marino, writer of Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla from IDW — AMA!

Hey everyone!

I'm Nick Marino, writer of Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla, the latest crossover comic series from IDW Publishing, and I'm excited to answer your questions today!

In this crossover of massive proportions, Sonic's ongoing battle with Dr. Eggman gets interrupted by the arrival of two colossal visitors from another reality: Mothra and Mechagodzilla. Their clash tears through Sonic's world, leaving Sonic, Tails, Amy, and friends scrambling to save the day while Eggman sees an opportunity too good to pass up.

If you've ever wondered:

  • How a Sonic/Godzilla crossover came together

  • Behind-the-scenes details from the creative process
  • Working with artist Jack Lawrence

A little about the book:

Series overview:

>The Blue Blur's battle with Dr. Eggman is upended when a dimensional fissure brings giant monsters into Sonic's world. As Mothra and Mechagodzilla wage war across the landscape, Sonic and his friends must stop the destruction before it's too late. Meanwhile, Dr. Eggman becomes increasingly obsessed with unlocking the secrets of these colossal creatures—and turning them into his own "eggtastic" creations.

I'll be here answering questions for the next few hours. Looking forward to chatting with Sonic fans, Godzilla fans, comic readers, and anyone curious about the project!

Ask me anything!
