hi guys, im a 23M on a solo trip to taipei, anyone know what is the nightlife like? and is there anyone thats down to hang?

A few months ago, a stranger had asked me to help him book a TADA ride as his phone was dead. I then asked if he had cash and he showed me his wallet which was sufficient for the amount if i were to book for him.

I then helped him to book a ride and opted for payment by cash to which the car arrived and he got on and left.

However a few weeks later, I received an email stating that I need to pay the amount back as he had apparently left without paying for the TADA ride.

I then escalated the matter to PTC and TADA to which they just simply told me "bo pian lor" in gist and asked me to pay if not my account would be banned.

Is this even the right way? I understand that yes maybe it is my fault for helping someone book using my own account, but shouldnt they launch investigations into the matter to at least try and find who the person is?

Edit: I think i just suey lor...but next time to those reading this just take note not to trust people so easily i guess😔
