My attempt at kitbashing Alexander from the famous Roman mosaic

Parts from various Victrix kits were used:

  • Horse, Alexander’s legs, right arm, cloak, and spear are from the Macedonian Successor Heavy Cavalry kit. I altered the angle of the horse’s hind legs to create a rearing pose instead of a running one.
  • Alexander’s torso and shield are from the Macedonian Command Sprue included in several kits, such as the Phalangites.
  • The head is from the Greek Peltasts, Javelin Men and Slingers kit.
  • The leopard cloth was sculpted using Green Stuff.

Alexander’s Late Campaign Phalangites

Tried to paint these Macedonian phalangites as veterans near the end of Alexander’s campaign, shortly before they mutinied at the Hyphasis River.
