31 [F4A] Online - Dating in my 30s after a long-term relationship.

In Oct 2024 my long-term boyfriend and I broke up after 6 years of dating and in Feb 2025 I put myself back out there and started dating again. Dating in my 30s has been a waaaay different experience compared to dating in my early 20s. Fun and exciting in some ways, but also a lot harder.

In the last 15 months of dating, I have met 10 guys for dates. 4 of those guys I went on further dates with. I had sex with 3 of them (1 on the 1st date and 2 on the 2nd date). And of those 3, 1 I had a couple month fling with and 1 has become a regular FWB partner who I'm still seeing! But overall, still single.

I'm extroverted so it is fun chatting and meeting new people and going on fun dates. But I've also found it difficult balancing finding a good interpersonal match along with sex being extremely important to me in a relationship. I've also had some dating difficulties telling guys that I strip 1-2 nights a week to supplement my income as a medical technologist. I've seen both extremes of people shaming me for it to people being way too enthusiastic about it.

Overall dating's been a somewhat fun but somewhat awkward and challenging experience so far. Some of my friends think I'm not seeing enough guys and say it's a number game and others say I'm not going on enough follow up dates. I'd love to chat with similar people, talk about experiences and how dating life is going!!
