Buffy's Gotcha Day!

I needed to post and celebrate one year with my baby, she is also almost exactly 18 months now!

I'm visiting family so Buffy is home with my wife and kids but I'll be home in the morning for celebration cuddles.

Buffy's Ticking Coming Through!

I wanted to share a photo where you can see Buffy's ticking! She started off showing some bits around 9 months old and now as we approach 18 months she's got so much!

In this picture you can see it in her hips and lower back, but she has the same amount on her sides as well. Only her tail and her neck crest seem to be spared. And I've also noticed some white hairs through her ears.

I think it's so cute! And I love that it's coming out all over her body, she's going to be a salt and pepper papillon.

She does have lots of speckles on her skin, but all you can see in this picture is actually black and gray fur mixed in with the white.

Buffy and fans

Does anyone lose their minds over their papillon under a big fan? Buffy might as well be Beyonce when the wind is blowing!

Nurse Buffy

I've had to get some impacted wisdom teeth removed and have been on pain meds in bed for a few days. Buffy is being both the cutest and sweetest little companion despite likely being very bored.

I'm overall very proud of this little puppers who recently passed Obedience Level 2 and is ready to take her CGC the next time an evaluator passes through. This summer she's signed up for Agilty Level 1 and I can't wait, I know she's going to love it.

For all the new pap puppy owners in the group, I can not recommend enough that you take your babe to dog training classes. It's a great opportunity to bond with your pup, help them learn to be a great dog, and socialize them appropriately with people and dogs. Buffy and I jumped into class when she came home at 6 months and she's become a spectacular girl in the last 10 months or so.

Hope everyone is having a great day with their little fluffy babies!

Hello from Buffy!

As it's been a little while since we posted, Buffy and I just wanted to say hello! All is well here, Buffy is growing up (16 months!) and getting smarter everyday thanks to consistent training classes and practice at home.

I am always very proud of her both for her beauty and her brains.

Sunshine Buffy

Hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather (unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere then I hope you're enjoying cool weather)

Buffy loves a long walk in the park, she's been overdue and, um, "reminding" me that she needed a trip today.

Scroll through for her funny pose!
