Hi,
I own an 8 year old Border Collie.
Because of medical reasons (broken back) I haven't been able to work with him physically as much lately and he is starting to act out.
- he jumps and bites at the television
- he jumps and "lashes-out" at children, other dogs or noises in neighbouring houses (when there are people talking of kids playing)
The lashing out at neighbouring noises has gotten to a point he is starting to break down the fencing in between gardens (it used to be a transparent fence, I had it swapped to a wooden one but the lashing out remains the same -seems to be getting worse)
Physically it is difficult to intervene/correct the behaviour since I haven't regained the strength to hold him back and when I try he is beginning to become agressieve towards me.
In general he is a really kind dog that listens reasonably well.
I was wondering if you had any advice on how to correct the behaviour and/or stimulate him in other ways so he is less inclined to become "agressive"
Thanks allot!
