Which beach would be better for swimming? Paje or Jambiani?

Hello, I am currently trying to decide between Paje and Jambiani for a 8 night stay. I love to be around the local traditional food restaurants instead of the touristy places. I understand already that Paje has alot of tourist food places. But I was wondering if the local cuisine places are still really good there.

Or would you be much better off in Jambiani?
