I’m fourteen now, and am literally just starting to learn everything, or rather, anything at all. I was basically left alone for five years, with unrestricted access to the internet. I had a goldmine of information, and I just ignored it. I could’ve been ahead of everyone in school, I could’ve had an amazing skill, been a prodigy at something, and I just sat there doing nothing in my room all day. And it’s totally my fault, I wasn’t a stupid kid, I could’ve looked up lectures or free courses, or even done a singular lesson on Khan academy. But no, I didn’t, and now I have the knowledge of a third grader, and it’ll take me years to catch up to my peers, and by then they’ll be years ahead of me 😐
