Hear me out.. he's a character that appears in the very first episode that sparks some drama right off the bat involving Spencer. Wren being Mellissa's (Spencer's sister ) boyfriend and then kissing her sparks the memory of Ali catching her the last time she kissed Mellissa's boyfriend (different one - Ian) it's pretty on the nose for being a coincidence - because remember, it's this new secret that A then uses against Spencer. If wren didn't kiss her what would A use against her ? Wren could've known the story of Spencer and Ian from Mellissa and designed it exactly the way it happened in order to gain the leverage needed. Wren being a doctor, also has access to everyone's private info giving him full ability to falsify or switch medical records. He has that weird connection to radley where he just seems to randomly start working there when Mona gets locked up. Then he tells Hannah about his father meaning history of severe mental illness. Oddly never mentions family before or after this moment tho. Mellissa may have confessed to him (since he was her boyfriend - fast track to marriage at the time) about the truth - as she knew it - that Spencer killed Ali and she covered it up, this info would be give A a lot of power and knowledge of what happened that no one else could put together yet. I love Mona as A I don't mean instead of, I just think instead of Cece it should've been wren and he was involved from the start maybe targeting Mellissa for info only thing idk ... motive ? Even the real character wren on the show seemed to struggle with purpose / motive / identity lol i think either obsession with a powerful reason or what if he was Charles ? Or something I put more thought into lol wastes character in my opinion. But at least "Diamonds last forever" - AD

Wait I'm so confused what am I missing ... who led the police to believe the body found under the gazebo was Ali instead of Bethany ?
Can't be Mona, she didn't know who Bethany was in order to switch the dental records right? Cece / Wilden thought Ali really was buried there so they wouldnt know it was Bethany either ... who? Garret and Jenna because the whole page 5 thing would lead u to believe they would be involved but at that point Jenna believes he's truly responsible for her death so being innocent you wouldn't literally build false evidence that would then incriminate you. But idk makes as much sense as telling a blind girl that u murdered her bully just to impress her - meanwhile taking advantage of her inability to see and staging a fake murder then faking a cover up... that storyline got so convoluted they killed him off just to avoid explaining lol

Them mothers were written more morally forgivable but the fathers didn't get as much character development or general thought out into their roles. (Aside from Emily's father who isn't seen as much or as integral to the story)
Byron Montgomery is so Jekyll & Hyde- to the point he gives serial killer vibes
Mr D is strange because you almost feel bad for the situation his wife put him in (raising children as his own that aren't except for one -Ali) but then they just kept revealing horrible things he'd done and he was never even confronted for us to see
Peter Hastings may honestly be the true villain of the series. This man's choices / mistakes are the initial cause to almost everything. He helped Jessica cover up everything about Mary and her child, he then cheated on his wife with Jessica ew and Jason is born, he can't even learn his lesson from impregnating the neighbor and watching his son grow up next door.. nope cheats AGAIN with Jessica AGAIN except wasn't even Jessica (so we know he really loved her for her personality ..) and this time it's twins ...
and another yet he's another man (father ) we never get to see confronted with all these things.
Byron at least they wrote enough for him to seem redeemable (but he's not - at all - seriously ! review the tapes lol bruh is messed up in the head ) but Peter and Kenneth are just revealed to be horrible human beings but then they just kinda fall off the face of the earth. I wanna see Kenneth meet Charlotte knowing who she is now, I want to see Kenneth and Mary interact, Jason and him final be real with one another. I want to see Peter and Spencer finally get to have an honest conversation, I want him to meet Alex and see how all of that unfolds but nope the men get no development or redemption it seems
PS they barely show Wayne( Emily's dad) then when they really start to give him some depth... they kill him off and don't even tell us how that's fked up

Ali comes back to rosewood alive and they all are in agreement to spill the whole truth to the police / everyone ... she says she got a threat from A and changed her story last minute. Makes absolutely NO SENSE . They had already agreed to tell the police everything including what happened to Shauna. Also they had the added sense of security to their story because Shauna fking shot Ezra... fell and died (I know Aria caused the fall but no autopsy would even prove that and even if it did what would it matter that she pushed the person who had a gun pointed at her and all her friends ?)

So I read that they had filmed alternate endings with different characters being revealed as 'A' like Caleb and Paige I believe and I just really wanna know if there's anywhere to see them? Idc how gritty or anything I'm just so curious. Caleb being A woulda be crazy and I need to see how that went down.

Okay so you have the four liars ( Spencer Hanna Aria Emily ) you have to choose one to kiss, one to marry, one to marry and since there's 4 and it's PLL, pick one to frame for the murder of the other lol just for fun

Is it just me or did ' Charles ' pick out better prom dresses for the girl than they did for themselves ? Lol I just feel the dollhouse prom dresses fit their personalities to a T and I was SOOOOO disappointed with their prom dresses

This is the one thing that really frustrated me about the show (which otherwise I love ) but flashback Ali was iconic!!! She was cutthroat, cruel and devious. So rarely do we get a female character like this... then she came back alive and I almost wish she didn't (I can say that cuz these aren't real people lol) she went soft and became so basic. All of Alison's intrigue mystery and depth was ruined by trying to make her character more likable. I was devastated (even tho ali 2.0 grew on me I still missed flashback Ali) not only did they do that to the main character who's villainous tendencies were the foundation for the entire plot .. but they did it to EVERY VILLIAN. Everybody evil was either redeemed or killed off

Jenna - redeemed (idk how but they forgive her for the whole trying to shoot & hold them hostage thing nbd)

Noel Kahn - deceased

Garret - deceased

Wilden - deceased

Melissa - redeemed

Shauna - deceased

Ezra - redeemed

I could go on & on but my saving grace was my girls Cece & Alex - I'm not kidding - these girl were VILLIANS they didn't have some sob story redemption arc and become basic ! Charlotte literally pretended to have a redemption only to get out and be worse ! I fking LOVE that

I'm for the dark side

Okay so I feel like I was pretty blind to the dark undertones of this movie.. Cameron is introduced immediately as an extremely depressed and suicidal teenager that can't seem to motivate himself to even get out of bed; claiming he's sick and not going to school. Ferris truly seems to care about his friend and the whole plot is pretty much driven by Ferris trying to show his friend a good time. No one thought the day of harmless fun would result in Cameron's father's car being destroyed... the thing is, they paint Cameron father as a heartless, abusive and even cruel man. Cameron seems genuinely afraid of him and may even be the source of his depression. At the end Cameron has a sudden change of attitude toward the situation and tells Ferris he's gonna tell his father to his face, even framed it as possibly being a 'good thing' SO.... I honestly believe Cameron didn't believe this would 'open the door for communication' or whatever I think he actually accepted his fate. I feel like the moment the car went thru the window- Cameron knew it was over. A rageful, absuive father that 'loved the car more that his own son' according to Cameron and Ferris --- i fear for Cameron's life.
