Need some stories or advice please.
I had my first egg retrieval and so far I’ve got some good numbers. The nurses at my clinic have said that I can call on day 1 of my period to start prep for FET. Now I’m not sure if I should wait out reset cycle and wait for my first “normal” period.
I’ve been TTC for 10 years so another month of waiting isn’t a huge deal to me, but I’m in this mindset of, well I’ve started now might as well keep the ball rolling.
Another things is I’m due to get married (small ceremony) a week after what would be approx transfer. Which would be special in itself however….do I want to be filled with progesterone and not be able to be enjoy a celebratory drink and soft cheese (haha)?
I’m not a big drinker by any means so this comment doesn’t hold weight.
There’s pros and cons to each situation, some of which I won’t share, but does any one have any good comments or stories on this? I am not usually so indecisive but this is such a big decision and given my ivf protocol I don’t have much time to make this choice.
