[UPD] scared of judgement and alleged bullying
Incoming freshman here. I've been in this community asking some questions and reading some posts. It's bothering 'cause I've seen people (UP students) share their experiences when it comes to being bullied (by other students or by their own PROFESSORS). Idk, I'm just bothered. I thought (believed) UP is a judgement-free institution? That's why there's no dress code and people often say that they are 'free' to be themselves. But most narrative contradict those statements. I'm quite scared, as someone who has an eye condition and very noticeable physical flaws. Would people judge me for wearing shorts/skirts even though I have scars on my legs? quite shallow, I know, but I'm so sick of being bullied and judged by other people for it. I'm trying to work on my confidence but now I'm scared that this new environment wouldn't be better.
