Control Arm Bushings Already?!
I bought a new Edge ST back in 2021 and I'm just shy/ just over 52k. Within the first month of getting it, it was determined that my Moon roof came with parts missing from the factory and that's why it was rattling when I opened it, and I had to have to fuel neck replaced because I was tripping at every gas pump.
Fast forward to now, I've had the fuel neck replaced a second time around 2023, and I just dropped it off at the ford dealer last week Friday for rattling in my Moon roof again (that started awhile ago but I've just been delaying taking it in because I'm sick of doing it), and I also had some "squeaking" coming from the front passenger side.
I got the call today. They figured out where the rattling in my Moon roof is coming from, they found a mechanical oil leak that I didn't know about, and the control bushings need to be replaced. IS THIS NORMAL???!!! I've had so many other small wacky issues with this car since getting it I've contemplated getting rid of it multiple times, but I literally pay it off next year 🤣
Thoughts? I have the extended warranty because after the issues I was having I wasn't not going to get it, so hopefully most of this is covered.
