Switched providers a few months ago and night and day difference

Posting this for anyone in the sub still on the fence about leaving one of the big national chains. I've been through Mindbloom, Better U, and Joyous. Switched to a small private practice a few months ago and it's a completely different experience.

A few things that stand out:

The ketamine itself is genuinely better. Superior quality. And I can use whatever pharmacy I want. Mine charges me $5 per RDT.

There's no tier structure, no being handed off between five different people, no app required. You deal with one person, do a Zoom check-in once a month, and that's it. She treats you like a person, not a customer ID.

You're paying for the ketamine and her time, $175 a month. That's the whole transaction. No apps, no upsells, no drama.

Her name is Meghan Leahey at Midwest Alternative Treatment Clinic. She does telehealth. Email is info@midwestalternativetreatment.com. If you reach out, mention you found her through Reddit.

Joyous's ketamine is “proprietary,” which reads like a cover for something not carefully compounded. They also have a huge problem if you want to use your own pharmacy. The company is clearly set up to gaslight you, and their ketamine is unmistakably different from any others I’ve had. I initially chose them because they were $130 a month. I now use a different provider at $255 a month, and the ketamine is far superior, like taking a completely different drug. Leaving them was the best decision I made. Check their BBB page. It is one nightmare story after another, followed by gaslighting in every single reply.
