So, i wanted a new headset for Christmas and my siblings were so nice and got me one. But just now in May the volume wheel started malfunctioning, it’s kinda hard to explain but i will do my best.
When i was gonna crank down the volume with the volume wheel on the headset i realized it kept going down and down. Headsets usually have a limiter that stops the wheel from going too low or too high, and I know my headset has that but now it’s gone. So now the headset is kind of stuck at a middle volume. And if I crank it up the volume doesn’t change.
I’ve had a couple of headsets broke cause I get a little too angry in games sometimes, but with this one I made sure to be very careful since it was gift.
I don’t know what to do anymore. If anyone know any way I can try to fix it please tell me. I’ve already checked for updates on Steelseries GG app but it was up to date. And I’ve tried blowing air into the volume wheel gaps.
