Recently moved out on my own and I’m starting to feel like having a pet would make the place feel more alive. I work most of the day at home though, so I keep going back and forth between getting a cat or a dog. I like the idea of a dog for the company and routine, but I also know cats are more independent which might fit my schedule better. I’ve never had to decide this on my own before so I’m a bit stuck.
For those living alone with pets, what ended up working better for your lifestyle and what did you wish you knew before choosing?
