Should I chop these off?
Should I chop these brown bits off this golden column cactus? Im not sure if i should or not? They are quite woody and hard there has been some new green growth this year below them.
Its from my mother in law, it got a bit much for her, so shes given it to me to try keep alive. Its been repotted now, kept in a bright conservatory and its about 20 years old apparently! I'd love to help it thrive and any advice would be greatly appreciated, I'm not sure how to look after it.
