Hi there!! I’ve gotten pretty into coach restoration for fun, and I’ve had no issues before this. I love the cleaning videos I get served on instagram all the time, so I’ve been using Brasso and a special file/buffer to make the brass shine and have had success on many purses.

However, I recently tried it with this purse and I’m so so sad :( I feel like it’s ruined. The “brass” turned to a coppery color. Has this ever happened to you?

I don’t think there’s any way to correct it, but any suggestions or explanations would be amazing!
