My PC only has one extra slot left and I’m honestly trying to avoid opening it up again after the last upgrade disaster. Been looking into getting an external ssd for gaming instead, mainly for storing larger games that keep eating space.

I’m in the US and mostly play single player stuff plus a few multiplayer games with friends.

Are external SSDs actually smooth enough for modern games or do load times end up annoying after a while? thanks

Counters and shelves fill up in days and it starts to look messy. what’s your routine for keeping it under control?
