Charging issues with Pixel 8 since android 17

When I plug it in it goes from 10W to then 22W, then stops charging and the cycle repeats itself. After a while the charger goes to like 4W and it takes hours to fully charge. I have it connected to my 67W Anker charger with a 60W charger.

No lint in the port, adaptive charging off (on not helping either). Battery is not overheating, tried putting it in freezer a few minutes, no difference.

What's even the point of updating android anymore when every update breaks your phone slightly more? Also the passive battery draining overnight is insane after the update, I lose like 50% over 8 hours.

Anyone else having issues with charge speed after Android 17?

My pixel 8 overnight drain is insanely high, I wake up next to it being very warm and losing around 10-25% over 7 hours during night, connected to wifi.

and now the phone charges at only like 5 watts max with the battery temperature at 38 degrees. Anyone else having similar issues? This only occurred after Android 17.
