36 [f4m] PNW Seeking someone to watch horror with.

It doesn’t have to be movies, that’s just my main jam. I like watching playthroughs of horror video games, too.

But as much as I like those things alone, I think it’s better when there’s someone else to be terrified with.

So, if you’re 30+, love horror, and would like a companion on the journey of being terrified, hit me up?

Ps, if you wanna hit me up, start with what scares you the most.

Do y’all have no problem relaxing your pelvic floor to pee, but have trouble relaxing to poo?

I should preface, 10 years ago, when I was 25ish, I had a pelvic floor muscle seizure. A serious one. If it had been left untreated it would have caused permanent damage (according to the PT).

I didn’t know what was wrong at the time, just that suddenly sex and inserting tampons was very, very painful when it never had been before.

I went to 6 doctors in 6 months, starting with my PCP, but I continuously kept getting diagnosis that didn’t match my symptoms or had no recourse for treatment; ie, vaginismus, vulvadinia, BV (even though I tested negative), etc.

It wasn’t till 6 months into this journey, that the SIXTH doctor, looked at my hoohaa, while I’m straddling gyno stirrups, and proclaimed “you’re visibly seized. I’m scared to touch you without hurting you”.

Lemme tell ya, I burst into tears on that exam table, hoohaa exposed, that finally someone was looking at ME instead of shoving a medical apparatus inside me.

She diagnosed the pelvic floor seizure by barely touching me externally; As opposed to the other 5 doctors who’d shoved a cold speculum inside me, declaring their painful exam ‘essential’, and exclaiming disorders that I did not, in fact, have. Or, even better, telling me in colorful words that it was ‘all in my head’.

Literally 2 PT appointments later and the problem went away and has never resurfaced.

But, it’s 10 years later and I’m having issues with pooing. I have no problem relaxing enough to pee, use tampons or **** myself. But day to day BM are not easy; I find myself straining to the point that I develop hemorrhoids.

And before anyone suggests it’s a fiber issue, I eat beans/legumes, veggies and nuts daily (also proteins, carbs and fat) my diet is very balanced, so I don’t think that’s the problem.

It feels, to me, like I can’t relax that PART of my pelvic floor. Which sounds silly to me; it’s just one floor isn’t it? Or are there sections I don’t know about?

I will say, it’s easy to poo when I’m stoned though, which makes me think it’s a muscular/tension thing?

Anyway, is this like a ‘lady’ problem or a ‘me’ problem?

Do I need to find another physical therapist or is this just what happens to your body as you enter middle age?
