Quick little doodle of Jess attempting to wear Rouge's outfit realising that she lacks height and assests to pull it off

Also Random Jess logo, dunno why just felt like it

Personally I feel that when I focus more of designing a random untested character my skill drops but I think more practice would help, was going to draw Jess but made the hips far too thick so threw together a random un-named uncoloured Cat.

Used wrong pen on head, but used an anatomy mannequin for her, while it helped I dont think ill be using them often

Not too happy with how the colours turned out but still from conception to completion it took 4 hours so I think I ended up rushing it a bit.

Jess with Shaterverse Lanolin during the Side Character by Choice Arcs of her story way before they get together.

It's a joke I'm still learning so hopefully ill get better as time goes on

Doing my best to not rush it but hopefully ill get the chance to make a start on the Wattpad around Jess's lore and maybe stories, just need free time

Not 100% original just a test

Anatomy doll used and traced over, altered to be Jess, so its not 100% original but just trying to learn my tablet, pen and infinite painter atm and which brush etc works best, im hoping to be able to free hand the drawing at some point.

Currently drafting the long version of the lore milestones, including text based stories to fill the gaps so ill give the bare bones outline here.

Jess – Narrative Timeline

1. First Jess (The Monster / MC Jess – Pre-Imprisonment)

- Ancient eldritch entity with unlimited power and no restraint.

- Destroys dimensions, plays horrific games with populations, treats reality as a toy.

- The Five Celestials intervene and imprison her in the Imp Jar form within an IDW-variant dimension.

2. Imprisoned Jess / Trapped Jess (The Prisoner)

- Sealed in the cute Imp Jar prison form.

- First two weeks: Chaotic toon shenanigans (creates Clackson, sentient supplies, etc.).

- Begins trying to earn trust with the IDW-variant Restoration cast.

- Pleads with the Celestials to spare her friends when they threaten to erase the dimension.

- Spends 62 days genuinely helping around Restoration.

- Day 63: Slips into the Beige Tent universe.

3. Beige Tent / Patch Era (End of Imprisonment)

- Beige Tent Lanolin uses Jess as a pragmatic stabilizer/patch.

- Jess holds multiple realities together, becoming treated as infrastructure rather than a person.

- Eventually breaks under the strain → Imp Jar shatters.

- Six universes reset → The Shatterverse is born.

- Jess reconstructs herself as Side Character Jess.

4. Side Character Jess (SC Jess)

- Longest phase. Deliberately chooses to be a side character across dimensions.

- Uses resolved plots to expand the Shatterverse.

- Develops the Golden Ticket, Noodling, and Side Character rules.

- Companions: Beepatrice (monitor drone) and Clackson (steps back to HQ support).

- Faces the Trauma Engine — a predator that tries to force her back into the Main Character/sacrifice role.

- Climax: Uses Coupon + Pry Bar to reject the narrative role. Saved by Shatterverse Lanolin and friends.

- Transitions into freedom.

5. Freed Jess / Modern Jess (Just Jess)

- Celestials officially dismiss all charges. She regains full power.

- Frees Clackson and Beepatrice.

- Begins a romantic relationship with Shatterverse Lanolin.

- Raises Lux and Calix with Lanolin.

- Rescues and adopts Tabi into the family.

- Lives a relatively peaceful life focused on family, relationships, and light help when needed.

- Continues occasionally expanding the Shatterverse with broken stories.

No ill leave the mechanics of an eldritch horror in an Imp jar and Sheep having kids to your own imagination.

What is the Shatterverse?

The Shatterverse is a collection of plot holes, abandoned stories, discarded fanworks etc that was pieced together eventually becoming its own narrative world.

What is the Trauma Engine?

The Trauma Engine is a narrative device that sees Jess as the perfect battery and is a way to point out how more trauma =/= better character in most stories.

Whats the point of Jess story?

“Everyone deserves love and a chance to be seen as a person — not just for what they can do, but for who they are — even (especially) if they don’t believe they deserve it.”

Yeah....think I need a slight break till weather is cooler, keep losing focus, used the wrong sketch book so yeah lol think ill focus down on jess's lore for the next few days from her imprisonment up to her freedom and marriage to Shatterverse Lanolin, ill leave old Jess and their kids for another day.

Quick sketch of OC Sera the mouse, a character that can slip through most cracks, plans routes weeks in advance, can be in and out of a warehouse in 2 minutes.

As long as you don't ask the legality Sera can typically find what you need, knows someone who has what you need or can point you in the right direction for a fee, classic British wheeler dealer think Del Boy from only fools and horses, typically runs and the first sign of a fight.

A character that after entering a room has picked out the most valuable objects, knows exactly how much she can carry and has 3 escape routes planned, no matter the lock it'll likely be picked by the time you realise she's taken your shoe laces.

Yeah so my brush pens seem to not be the same colour in this sketchpad and the darker colour gets absorbed faster so looks like pencils in that book and brush pens on standard paper.

Lesson learned as can be seen from the eyes, all practice so know for next time.

Just a quick sketch and test of my new brush colours, definitely needs work.
