Suggestion for a coaxial cable signal booster bi-directional for Xfinity

Afternoon,

I am trying to nail down an issue with my internet cutting in and out. I though it was a bad modem, but I am still having random disconnects at random times

I have not changed anything inside the house and the cable comes in directly from outside, through the wall, booster, into a splitter, then the modem after about 25 feet.

Now I do remembering Comcast/Xfinity installing a coaxial cable signal booster bi-directional before the splitter like 10-15 years ago and I know it was powered, so maybe this could have gone bad. My service call is not until the 27th.

So what could you suggest for a signal booster that works with Xfinity?

Thanks in advance.

Looking for what, may be, a unicorn.

So i 99% want to get into a PHEV. That is the main feature im looking for. Currently driving 2014 Ford escape with 208k miles.

I know in terms of AWD, I am greatly limited to the RAV4, but is there anything out there that has the same body style of the Chevrolet Trax? I really love the longer look and "shorter" look, but still off the ground as an suv.

I even though I live in south land Chicago area and winters can suck, I would give up AWD for front wheel if I could get the trax body style and PHEV.

Trax has no option for PHEV, so am I out of luck with only RAV4?

I know of nas drives for like traditional drives and my old router had a usb port, but my new mesh one does not.

Is there a switch or adapter to hook up a usb drive to network without going 80$ on a NAS?
