I'm following up under a new thread here. I realized that I didn't ask gender before, and I think that might matter a little bit. I am a woman female cis. Maybe the mechanism is the same for men and women but i'm really interested in talking to women about this

A few people said that adding wellbutrin helped. So you mean you are taking both Cymbalta and wellbutin... Not for depression, but to mitigate the negative effects of the Cymbalta... I want to make sure i'm understanding that correctly

Orgasms

Sorry for reposting this three times... Long story this is the right one

I was prescribed Cymbalta for fibro symptoms. 30mg

I have never had my body feel so good in probably over forty years. I also felt mental health benefits almost immediately. I have never been on any kind of antidepressant, although at times i've bordered on those type of symptoms

Really it felt great

Except I couldn't have an orgasm at all

I stopped taking it

The fibro symptoms came back, and now I kind of felt more depressed

I started again a few months later at 20mg. Sub therapeutic dose

Felt the positives again and had the the tiniest little pop of an orgasm

My sexual life is really important to me.

So I stopped taking the medication completely

I feel like it taunts me sitting on the shelf in the bathroom. I don't think I've ever liked a medication so much in my life

Anyone figured a way around this

Anyone know of any alternative medications that work like this
