This will ne my first whittle not following some sort of youtube or book guide for a whittle and im a bit anxious to start. May have bitten off more than I can chew.

How should I approach this? Top down? Bottom up? Attack random point taking off tiny bits?

Any advice is welcome. Not an drawer by any means. What even are proportions.

Its about a 2x2 piece of wood.
