Way I’m being treated differently: I am one of two ‘approving’ managers, if one is unavailable you go to the other. The people from this grievance will not come to me.

Clarity: I had hard evidence proving an unfair hiring process for a colleague as one gossiped to me - however all involved were higher level and denied this, retracting the statement they gave to me, which was the evidence.

This was not the main grievance but a part for it.

I assume bc I essentially ‘snitched’ they don’t want anything to do with me.. I just wanted justice 😔

Is there anything I can do? At this point I feel my progression is non existent and I need to get a new job.

- I’m aware this is vague and maybe too vague for anyone to help. I am just conscious of making this anonymous.

Other things that might help: my company is a large corporation.

HR took notes in the meeting but a senior manager led and did the outcome too - he also knows the hiring manager it was about

My notes from my interview were incorrect so I sent changes, they never confirmed this and sent the grievance outcome very soon after I sent my email saying the notes were incorrect (this also meant they didn’t follow up with another named colleague as their name was incorrect on the notes)

We do not have unions

The grievance was asked to look into if it was a fair hiring process and explain how it was fair given one candiate had job interview notes used from a previous different role, and the successful candidate had an interview (or was just given it, we dont know - but we know this was the first job he’d gone for so had no previous notes)

The outcome stated it was fair and that more suitable candidates were selected (did not explain how it was fair, or how they were more suited as we know they don’t have the experience of the candidate putting in the grievance) and said the candidate should get a PDP to help next time..

Honestly, there’s probably so much more. The hiring manager is known to do things like this, the grievance named 4 times he had done this before. He also often does another job when he says he’s working remotely for this job… but hes very good at not leaving evidence or just point blank lying.

Point: is there anything I can do? lol. I am someone who feels very affected by justice not being served. I’ve lost heart in the company, I feel I couldn’t move into a role under this hiring manager too due to this grievance. I told my bosses boss this, and said I wouldn’t be safe there. But he just said ‘I don’t know much about that’ and that was that..

Do I just count my losses and look for another job? 😔 I think also I could be making a mountain out of a molehill but ive been told im sensitive haha

Thank you

On my ring finger, literally noticed this maybe 2 mins ago.

History of eczema all my life, mostly contained to my hands and fingers which is usually why my nails are a bit funny shaped.

Any help is much appreciated! Thank you

Edit: as you can’t see as clearly in the pic, the lines are a dark pink. My nail bed is a light pink, and these two lines are a darker pink
