My husband and his mom built their own base jungle fossil mastersets when he was a kid. Last night, his mom gifted me her set in the original binder.

I'm gonna cherish this forever 😭 His mom kept really good care of her cards and always talked about the memories my husband and her made trading and going to competitions. He really looks fondly on his own masterset as not only something really cool to have, but talks constantly about the those memories as well.

Lately, his mom knows I've been making a lot of progress in our Pokemon community. Two years ago, I decided to become a Professor (Pokemon Judge) and began organizing at my local LGS. This year, Pokemon put me on the roster for Regionals and I got my first taste of judging high end events. I think staying at my little LGS is where I prefer to be because I absolutely love and dote on my community and try my best to give away 80% of the playables I open to ensure everyone has the deck they want. His mom knows this and decided this year to gift me her masterset in the original binder she built it in.

I don't have a lot of great pictures because I was sobbing but just took a picture of the first two pages I could see in it.
