Please help me decide - iphone 17 or iphone 17 pro
My iphone 13 is almost 4 years old. I’m quite a heavy user. i use the camera a lot (traveling and watching concerts) and i play mobile games, and i like to edit videos din. I’m always online. My phone’s battery health is 70% na lang and hindi na tumatagal ng half day man lang so i always make sure to bring a powerbank. Also, grabe na yung lag. Minsan i’m only playing magic chess or online billiards and nawawala minsan yung game characters 😭 last week lang, i opened my browser then nagcrash siya then lahat na ng apps na i-open ko nagccrash. Nawala din lahat ng app icons ko for a moment then nagrestart siya by itself. Naghahang and crash din yung camera minsan. I went to a concert last week and i made sure to turn off yung wifi and data baka sakaling hindi mag hang while i’m taking vids. Thankfully, hindi naman.
I’ve been thinking of upgrading to iphone 17 na, and medyo fixated na ako for the past month tbh. I think it’s the perfect phone for me right now. Ang thinking ko is new phone = better battery eh. Improved din yung zoom ng camera which i will definitely use coz i watch concerts often. Plus i loveee the mist blue color. But my husband suggested na mag 17 pro na ako. I admit na yung bigger RAM, bigger battery, better camera, and yung cooling chamber are tempting. So 3 nights na akong puyat kakaresearch and kakabasa ng reviews/comparisons and i’m still undecided.
Wala namang budget constraint BUT hindi lang ako yung type to splurge on gadgets. 20k difference din and i could buy other stuff with that 20k. Big factor na rin for me ngayon yung longevity ng phone because first iphone ko itong 13 and first din na tumagal sakin ng more than 3 years. Noong android user pa ako i change phones yearly but those were budget phones like less than 25k lang. If di lang ako nakakakita ng problems sa base 13 ko, i would not consider upgrading pa.
So do you think the base 17 will last me at least 4 or 5 years given its features na parang pro ng older gens? Or will the 17 pro suit me better and tatagal kaya sa’kin ng more than 5 years?
Please help me decide. Ayoko na mapuyat bukas 😭
