New Steam Controller Bluetooth Not Working Properly With Android Phone?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to get my new 2nd gen 2026 Steam Controller to work with some games on my phone, mainly Albion Online and my emulator RetroArch, but although I can successfully pair it with my android phone with Bluetooth, it seems to register as a mouse + keyboard doesn't bind properly.
For example on Albion Online only the B button works to open the menu, but the sticks or other buttons don't work except for the right trackpad to move the mouse and I think R2 for mouse click.
For RA on mgba, the X and Y buttons don't register and when I try to bind some buttons, they come up as preassigned keyboard buttons, like escape, enter, or mouse click 1 or 2.
Is this just me or am I missing something? I tried to connect it through usb c or wired through the puck, but the results are the same. It's kind of hard to get information with all the naming confusion as well :\.
