How to build a unique artist page?
Been trying to get a grip o Instagram for a while, but I am so damn bad at understanding wth I can do.
I have read a lot about the tactics working currently, chasing trends and doubling down on what works. But I think I need some different ressources and that's what I am asking here.
Thing is, I don't find something that works. I am a dark fantasy illustrator, slowly learning from a mid-advanced level to a professional level and building my world in the process. But it just doesn't land.
My idea was to make that wolrd-building part of the profile concept, but it feels like people aren't interested in the story unless they are already invested in the artist, or maybe I just genuinly can't grasp the concept of how IG works now. I had a well running profile a few years back before short form videos were a thing and now I am struggeling to understand what makes people stay and switch to your profile.
I would love to just skip it, but I need to understand this to make art my full-time job. So some nudges in the right direction would be much appreciated:))
