Our almost-4-year-old insisted on cold water for her bath a week ago. That first night she wouldn’t even let me use lukewarm water. I was pouring tap cold water over her head and she was screaming and laughing hysterically. She said it tickled.
l thought it would be weird one-off thing, but she’s still excited about cold baths a week later. She’s at least letting us pour warm water over her to rinse now, but we still have to start with a tub of cold water. The weirdest part is that she is not at all cold natured in other circumstances; it’s pretty common for her to feel cold and ask for a sweater or jacket when it’s just a little breezy out.
