Multitap, multitouch, Rapidly tapping bug

Galaxy S23 Ultra. Snapdragon 8 gen 2. Adreno 740.

In the center of the screen, the game shows my inputs as player 1. In the video you can see that when I rapidly tap 2 places on screen, anywhere and then dpad, it locks the dpad input until I release and tap again. I can delay the dpad input by a few frames and it will work normally, as they register as 2 different inputs, but being forced to delay inputs when I need them fast makes it very difficult to play. If I press another button with the right finger, it also registers the dpad input my left finger is on, but it stays locked in the new dpad input.

I noticed this in Ultra Street Fighter 4, Blazblue Central Fiction, Idol Showdown and this game, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2. Being a dpad bug, it probably affects all fighting games and more.

I spent 5 minutes in USF4 thinking my execution was shit, I could not buffer a standing Medium Kick into Shoryuken.

Extra: Is there a name for this kind of behavior? I remember playing android games that had something similar to this, press 2 places rapidly and it doesn't know how to behave. I tested 3rd strike in GGPO, SF Alpha 3 in PPSSPP and some more arcade games on MAME, they don't have this bug. Also, yes, an actual pad is better than touchscreen, but I will only buy one in a few months. Much love to GN team, when I get a pc I will study more to help open source projects like yours.
