Egg freezing dilemma

Hello I’m 30F, married for about 3 years. I have been on the fence about kids for awhile now, and definitely don’t feel ready for kids in the near future. My husband is aligned but is more certain about wanting kids eventually.

With the biological clock ticking, I’m considering freezing my eggs this year. The downside would be the hefty costs and possible physical side effects and down time (ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome ?) In SG’s context, does egg freezing at age 30 make sense to preserve optionality in the future? I’m thinking it might be wise as an insurance plan, in the event that we decide to have kids in our mid to late 30s.
