Just seeing what gloves(if any) people are using when driving spiritedly, i may be the only one but i feel like when i put gloves on shit gets real like Sylvester Stallone when he turns his hat in over the top. my fiance got me a pair of cheapy ones off amazon for Christmas and I got a hole in them… also may start tracking it on the weekend so glove suggestions would be awesome.
Just thought I’d give a little heads up to everyone that asks about daily driving this beast… let me start by saying that she is a 25 manual core model with 15400 miles on it at this point, I have owned it since 7 miles so they are all mine. I have had only one issue with the car it was a clutch pedal squeak but the dealer fixed it no problem or questions asked issues, no issues driving at all with the car whether I was daily driving to work(25 miles each way),cruising the backroads in pa, or driving from pa to Maine. I am a bigger guy 6’3” 235lbs and have really had no issues with the space inside the car , only thing I wish this car had was some lumbar support, other than that everything is perfect and the car just feels raw and is a blast to drive. The only things I have done to the car so far, and probably will only do to it till something breaks and has to get replaced was I got a billetwokz weighted knob and also got a second set of continental dws tires for winter driving, which might I add handled very very well in the snow storms we got in pa this year. For those that always ask about the brake pads my fronts are at 7mm and the rears are at 9mm still the first set. Been having my Toyota service center do all the oil changes(they actually have a service tech there that specializes in working on the gr Corolla, met him and I believe the really knows his shit cause he also owns a gr Corolla) which is a nice thing, after I get my 20k service I will be doing all the work myself, just thought I’d take advantage of the free services. All in all I will never get rid of it(unless they stop dragging their feet and just make a new mr2) will enjoy driving it everyday and love looking at it, and I hope you all do to
