LDR since highschool been on/off for 7 years
So my ex and I first got into LDR when we were sophomores in highschool, also peak covid. He lived in a different state than me but somehow we met through snapchat and got together. we had locations,calls, ft calls,daily check up, basically everything. we ended things because it got too toxic, we were young and in love and constantly needed reassurance. it took a took on the both of us so we broke up. Fast forward year 2021-2022 i was in a serious relationship and we things broke off in 2023. somehow he managed to get in contact with me, we hit it off again, we thought we were older we could make it work but he just signed up for the military and his work schedule was crazy and i was a young adult wanting to go out and have fun. things ended there, 2024 he texts me randomly and i had a fling and i told him i was talking to someone and he said it’s fine we’d just be friends cause he had a lot going on that he couldn’t commit. we stopped talking after some time then end of 2025 going into 2026 he texted me again, he’s more settled into the military and he wants to start talking, we have talked constantly for 4ish months and he says i love you, i tell him iv always loved him. he wants to be together, and he’s flying me out in 2 months. we had a good 3-5 days of good communication and truly showing he cares and loves me then he stops replying to my tiktoks, dry ass reply, he’s always busy, takes him hours to get back to me. so i had a couple drinks and lashed out on him through text and he tells me he’s fed up with the arguments and he’s got too much going on with work and he can’t deal with my constant arguments. I also wasn’t okay with some stuff he posts and unadded him on some social media so i wouldn’t have to see and start an argument about. and he said that was his final straw. i’m honestly so annoyed and heart broken. he made me believe it would work this time around, we’re actual adults yet he gives up this fast. i keep checking his socials maybe to see if he’s as bothered or if he might text back or something.I just wanna know how to get over this man, he really just be stomping over my heart
