Looking for some guidance. I feel like online I’ve seen a lot more of the movement of dog owners not using vaccines or flea/ tick prevention. A lot of posts regarding their dogs “living longer” due to their pets not using any kind of prevention or vaccinations. I have two dogs. I love them both so much. One is a puppy and our older dog is 4 years old. Our older dog is fully vaccinated and we are doing the same with the puppy. Along with flea and tick prevention. I guess I’m just confused.

As a vet, truly, what’s the way to go?
