Sound from left side of engine after changing rack and pinion

It’s a faint metallic sound that last around a second. Happens around 3k rpm from a stop and under hard acceleration.

Rack and pinion complete

It took about a day and a half but I started late the first day and had to leave for a few hours. Learned a lot and am confident I could get it done in a day in the future. A lot of the time I spent looking for parts 😂 once I had everything it was a breeze.

What kind of resonator is this?

When I got the car the guy said it was fully straight piped, but I saw this today while working on the rack and pinion and I’m pretty sure it’s a resonator. Anyone know which one?

What kind of leak is this from? If possible to tell. I lose very little oil and haven’t noticed the transmission fluid really going down in months.
