Hey TL Bros, trying to figure out why when I turn my wheel it makes kind of like a "eeeeeyyyyyy" noise or like a creaky noise, and now with a sIight rattle. just changed my power steering fluid and it kind of helped. (I noticed just know it was almost all gone) and the further i turn it the kind of louder it gets. I can hold the wheel a certain way. And it will kind of keep the sound going. I just need help diagnosing, aswell as am i too bad to drive right now? My thoughts are that it's the Tie Rods or CV joint. (My balljoints n swaybar links are cooked already) that's my upcoming weekend project

Cold start, anybody know what this could be ?

Thought this was an interesting find. I've owned this car almost a year now!

Also, does anyone know what the "stealth" dealer installed accessory is??

Just got it back from the shop. A little louder when going over manhole covers/small bumps, drives/rides fine.

Didn't think about the negative camber in the back... In retrospect should've had it installed at the same time.

It took about a day and a half but I started late the first day and had to leave for a few hours. Learned a lot and am confident I could get it done in a day in the future. A lot of the time I spent looking for parts 😂 once I had everything it was a breeze.

I have no clue what this noise is, it sounds like it’s coming from possibly my starter solenoid staying engaged. The sound isn’t coming from the belt side so I’m really stumped on what this could be.

Please help me navigate what’s going on to my 03 Acura Tl.

Symptoms:
* crazy play in 3 and 9 position when shaking tires.
* over 50mph my steering wheel is shaking asf
* tire tread uneven on edge.
* When do cornering on speed it makes noise from passenger side

I think that inner tie is bad on both sides.
And CV axle need to be replaced on passenger side

I’ve got noise in both rear sides on my 03 Acura Tl.

When I’m driving on highway steering wheel is shaking hard on 50-55 mph
Also uneven tread on tires on edges as well as on front tires

I think that wheel bearing it’s about to exit car.

Upd: I’ve done brake pads and rotor changed two weeks ago.
So it may cause that I did something wrong and hardware touch the rotor.

Please advise me what do I need to fix

Thinking about buying a 2012 Acura TL (FWD automatic) with 140k miles. Asking 8k and wanted opinions from owners.

The car is —>
Very clean inside and out
Garaged most of its life and has no rust
Leather seats + sunroof
Clean title
No warning lights/issues

A few questions —>
How reliable are these long term? (Is 140k miles too high)
How does the TL drive as a daily? (I drive 25-30 mins to work)
How is it on gas?
Does $8k sound fair?

Would appreciate honest opinions from owners or anyone familiar with these cars.

Looking for some help diagnosing an oil leak on my 2005 Acura TL. I attached a few pictures underneath the car. It seems like oil is leaking down onto the lower area/subframe, but I’m not 100% sure where it’s starting from.

The car has the 3.2 V6 and around 200k miles. The Bank 1 spark plugs were all very very oily the worst Ive ever seen so could be that valve cover gasket but that wouldn’t nt make those big leaks on the trans? Any common leak points I should check first? Valve cover gaskets, oil pump seal, rear main, VTEC gasket, etc?

Appreciate any input from people who’ve dealt with these before.

How much do you think I could sell it for? I’m think 2k. I did the timing, control arms, valve cover, new radiator, and new front brakes.

When I got the car the guy said it was fully straight piped, but I saw this today while working on the rack and pinion and I’m pretty sure it’s a resonator. Anyone know which one?

So I got this car around half a year ago (2012 tl tech fwd) and it has quite a few issues but it runs well. I plan to fix these issues of course but in this economy it’s gotta be one thing at a time. Recently I’ve noticed that when I open the door it chimes continuously even without the fob being in the slot; and when it’s running whilst in park I have to press the button about 3 times the get the car to shut off and when it does there’s that amber key light flashing for a bit accompanied by the chime. I thought it might’ve been that the key fob battery was dying but I replaced it and still the same thing; all of the keyless functions work and it still starts obviously but I’m kind of stumped. Any thoughts?
